I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's several years ago and last October had a hemithyroidectomy of my left lobe due to a suspicious nodule. It was benignBenign ear cyst or tumor Benign positional vertigo, thought to be a result of the Hashimoto's. Just had a follow-up ultrasound of the right thyroid and the result was Hypervascular Right Thyroid Lobe, no focalFocal neurological deficits nodule present. What does that mean for someone who has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's?
Hashimoto's will cause a bumpy (lumpy) type of appearance to your thyroid over time as the antibodies do their damage. No nodules are seen and that is good!
