HypoThyroid and Throat Problems - Are they

I am Hypothyroid and I take synthroid.  For two days, maybe three days now, I took my synthroid med later like around noon because I forgot to take it.

For about 10-years now, I suffer from Anxiety/Panic Disorders from time to time (not on meds for that).

For about 2-years now I've been having sensitive feelings in my throat. Some days, it feels like I got a golf ball in my throat, other days, I feel like I need to cough or swallow (or feel like I cannot swallow).

But, for 3 days now, I feel tingly feelings in my throat, sometimes on left, sometimes on right, sometimes feels like I'm getting a sore throat, sometimes feels like my throat is "empty", sometimes feels like my right tonsil is swollen.

I had my boyfriend look all over my mouth and down my throat to see if there's spots or sores, and nothing there.

Is it Anxiety or just those ghost symptoms that comes along with hypothyroidism ???

My thyroid is enlarged and I have those same feelings...sometimes it feels like someone is pressing on my esophagus and at times get a panicky feeling of not being able to swallow...have you talked to your doc about it??  Might be a good idea to have him/her check you out...good luck!
