I would appreciate to know what foods can help me with hypothyroidism and what foods to avoid.

There are no specific foods that will help, though a healthy diet low in refined carbs/processed foods/ sweets and avoiding hydrogenated fats is recommended.

Foods to avoid include in particular are Soy products and soy based foods, which can suppress thyroid.

There are some vegetables like broccoli and cabbage that can suppress thyroid if taken in very large quantities, but as these foods are actually very good for and healthy no need to avoid in normal serving sizes.
