Hypothyroid T3 Causing High Blood Pressure ?

Hi All
Hope someone can shed some light on this. I went to the the private Dr and he put me on 20 mg's of T3 I was
fine till I am due on my period then I know my blood pressure go's up the reading was 137 over 91 and my pulse was 58. Didn't take one today and still high today 122 over 89 and pulse up to 86.
Would anyone know why this is happening only at a certain time ??
Now going to try to just increase thyroxine from 100mg's to 125mg's.

Okay I am a little confused...lol....are you on both a T4 med and a T3 med? You also mentioned thyroxine.
Your numbers didn't change much from when you took the T3 and didn't take it. But your pulse is low normal at 58 which is great.
I think the best thing to do is to ask your Dr why your blood pressure is running high....and see what he suggests.
Are you getting out and exercising every day?

I am on T4 med alone and my already high blood pressure is even higher since i had a TT and have been on synthroid. I do not know too much about T3 Med's so maybe someone who does can respond.
