I DID IT!! I'm home!

I did it, I'm home recovering.  Great surgeon!  Only about 3 in. across my neck.  It looks wonderful!  I forgot to ask how long it takes for the results from pathology, anyone know?  I had two nodules large in size but, different consistancies.  On hard, one soft.  

On;y a small drop in calcium, nothing tums couldn't take care of.  

I CAN BREATHE!!!!!!!!  It is such a relief! That alone is worth every second of this pain!  

Thanks for listening to me whine all month!  Hopefully I'll have good news from here on out!!!

Thank god!!!!! I am so happy for you. I go for my biopsy Monday - so just knowing how good you feel - is giving me the strength to plow through.

Having a successful surgery, no calcium drop and a small scar sounds like a winner to me - congratulations!  Breathing is a wonderful thing, keep it up.

Pathology was about 10 days.  The dr told me then it wasn't cancer but went over things in more detail during the first follow-up appt.

Congratulations on a successful surgery and easy recovery!  I hope it continues for you.

My TT is scheduled for 2 weeks from today, and my surgeon told me it would take 3 - 4 days for the pathology report to come back.  Of course, he also told me that about my biopsy results, and he called me 36 hours afterwards with those.  I doubt I'll be that lucky twice.   =)

     So glad you had your surg. and are doing fine. You were in my prayers.  I had my RAI on Tues.  Am still in isolation.  But doing ok so far.  Just climbing walls today.

Sometimes it can take about a week on pathology.   I'm so glad that you are home and doing well!!

I had a tt three weeks ago on 2/5.  My pathology report was faxed to my surgeon on 2/7.  I didn't get the results though until my appointment with the surgeon on 2/13.  

I'm glad your surgery went without complications and that you can breathe!  Keep us posted on your path results.
