I don't know what to do

I have just gotten a notice back from Cancer Treatment Centers of America and they want to wait for 3 months and retest.  In your opinion is this ok and what type of Doctor should I look for an Endo or an Endo with Diabetis?

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 05 had a total thyroidectomy and two rounds of radiation.  Since then everything has been fine now my endo is telling me that since June 08 I have had cyst appear that she never told me about 4 all together ranging from 2 mm to 7mm right in my thyroid area.  After getting a second opinion from cancer treatment centers he wants to wait.  But what I don't understand is wait for what?  My Tg was 2.1 I also had TgAB done and that was at .8 that was just done the 1st week of jan.  Why wouldn't they just do surgery now?  Do you think this is something I should worry about.

Also, I had these cyst when I was pregnant with my second  Is my baby at risk for anything now?  Should we be looking for some kind of signs in him or have some type of blood work done on him now? He is only 7 1/2 months old.

Plus the dr that I am seeing now is a dr of endo plus diabetis does this differ from just a regular endo doctor?  Do you think I should just find an Endocrinologist?

See, I'm not the only one who thinks so.  :-)

Get to an endo who specializes in thyroids or, if you can't find one, and ENT.

No, your baby is fine.  The only risk to a baby is if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (or holding the baby) during RAI.

Like I said on your other posts, I think they need to do additional surgery to find out what those "cysts" are and you need more RAI - the Tg is way too high!!!

Thos are the regular endo's most of them do have more diabeties than thyroid relations.

No - I don't think waiting is right. Who was your doctor in 05 when the cancer was found? -
