I feel crazy..and scared!

So I am on Synthroid for my Hashimotos. Have been for about 5 or more years now. I am a 25yo F. My gyno recently put me on Progestrone to help regulate my cycle and help with moods/ depression. Well last night I had my 4th "episode". Its always around 11pm. I suddenly, like literally in a split second, get very heavy feeling. And yet it feels like my whole body is weightless. My head gets light and my hands get tingly and numb. My speech last night was very slow and at times slurred. It took about 30 min and it all went away. My pulse stays regular, if i close my eyes and raise my hands as you would in a stroke test, theyre fine. I called my dr after the first 2 times and he told me to continue the progestrone and to keep an eye on it. Anyone have an idea on what could be causing it? Its scaring me! Thanks so much.

Assuming you are going to get some tests done, I highly recommend that you test for Free T4 and Free T3 (not the same as Total T4 and Total T3).  The Frees are biologically active.  If the doctor resists, just insist on those and don't take no for an answer.  I'd even go so far as to question the lab people about what tests are going to be done.  You would be surprised at how often they operate on auto pilot and do the same tests as usual.  I also suggest that you should test for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin while you are there.

There could be other things in play here, but with you having Hashi's and likely being under medicated, I think this is a good place to start.

Just made an appointment w/ my primary care dr. So ill post everything after. It was solely for irregular cycles and moods.

Since you have Hashi's and are taking Synthroid, I think we should start by having a look at your thyrrid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.  Also, when you were put on progesterone, was that based on a low Progesterone/Estrogen ratio found with lab tests, or just to help regulate your cycle and moods?  Further, if tested for Vitamin D and ferritin, please post those as well.
