I have nodules-what does this mean?

I just talked briefly with my dooc who told me that I have 3 nodules on my right side. She had to go and will call me back later today. What does this mean and what should I ask her about the nodules? Should I worry?
I dont want my thyroid removed!
Could the nodules be the reason why I am having problems with thyroid meds? Or does the hashimoto's cause the nodules?

Hi,
Nodules are parts of the thyroid that swells, a person can have 1 to numerous (multinodules),.  Most people have nodules, thier entire life, and never know.  So not to worry.

Relax, follow up with your doctor, you will be fine.

Good luck !

If doctor tells you the ultrasound finding, ask about the sizes and type of nodules.
