I need to know

by msnana, Nov 01, 2007 08:05PM
I have recently been diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid

TSH  0.021L
Thyroxine (T4)  15.2
T3 Uptake -44H
Free Thyroid Index   6.7H
INR  1.1L
I had an ultrasound done and it indicates the the right side of my thyroid is enlarged.
I am taking the topocal and propenol for heart palpatations.

Are these numbers alarming? What should I be doing now?

hi, i've had hyperactive thyroid now for about a year now i've took the
beta blocker and thyroid medicine.  In july i did the iodine treatment, which it work for awhile, and recently i've been feeling bad. Went to doctor on thursday and did blood work, well it's back the iodine treatment failed.  So i guess not i'll have to have surgery.  I've learned
you dont want to mess with this.  I was to the point where it made me very sick. I lost 55 pounds in a matter of a few months.  I do have the
graves disease. I'm not for sure about your numbers but they do sound similar to mine. I't will get better sooner, I hope
