IODINE PLUS

Has anyone tried the Iodine plus to treat their thyroid problem and if so, did it work.  I think it is a natural treatment.

Netha,
I'd ordered three bottles of IodinePlus2 from Natural Living Inc in Nevada. This was when I first found out I was hypothyroid and before I understood Hashimotos disease.
If hashis is the cause of your condition, I have read that supplementing iodine is contraindicated.
I was lucky that the company allowed me to return two of the bottles that still had the seal unbroken.
Barb has asked for you to post your blood lab results. This will help the members to provide suggestions and advice : )
I'd not do the iodine until you know more about the condition of your thyroid. Do you also  have nodules?

Iodine is necessary for proper thyroid function; however, when one has Hashimoto's or other issues, iodine may be contraindicated.  Some do great with iodine supplements; others not.  You should only use iodine under the direction of your doctor.

Have you been diagnosed with a thyroid problem?  Is so, which one.

If you have a copy of your most recent thyroid lab results, please post them, along with the reference ranges, since these vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report.
