I had the Thyrogen shots this past Monday and Tuesday.  My thyroid was removed in May of this year due to papillary cancer that spread to couple lymphnodes.  I have nothing to compare as this is my first experience.  Mid day after receiving shots by body got very heavy, nauseated, just out of it but by night I was better.  The second shot same.  RAI pill Wednesday and had scans Thursday and Saturday.  I am waiting to hear about i131 therapy and if anyone could share their experiences it would be great

Kimber494... you've attached your comments to a very old thread and  the previous posters are no longer active on the forum.  It's highly unlikely that any of them will respond to your questions.

In order to get more attention, it would be better if you start a new thread of your own.  You can do this by clicking on the red "Ask a Question" button at the top of the page, that will take you to a new page on which you can type your own question.

Thank you for responding so quickly to my question.  This is a big relief to me knowing that the majority of people who receive thyrogen injections do not have severe side effects.

I have used Thyrogen 4 times in the last 3 years and haven't had any side effects with it.

I had them and it was SO much better than going hypo.  However, they made me a bit nauseated.  But that was my worse symptom when I was hypo.  The majority of people that I've seen out here that have had it have had no ill side effects though.  Good luck to you!
