Insomnia Post-TT

I am 7 weeks post total thyroidectomy and am experiencing bouts of horrible insomnia. My Synthroid dosage is still being adjusted and I know I'm in hypothyroid mode still, but didn't think that insomnia was a symptom of hypo (always thought it was a hyperthyroid symptom). Although I have struggled with sleep problems off and on over the years, this is worse and more constant. Also because I've had a history of insomnia, my doctors don't seem to take this symptom very seriously...anyone else have this problem?

Insomnia sometimes it takes pretty bad, yup i always encounter that kind of symptoms too, im not sure is this one of side effect maybe, i am hypothyroid im on 150mcg.
