Hello,
I also have nodules on my thyroid. My doctor's biopsy if they are above 1cm. I had to get one of them biopsied. Everything came back fine. The thing that stinks with nodules is that some can be hyperHyper-sal putting you into thyroiditis which happened to me.
Can anyone explain i recently had sonogram done on my thyroid. it reads like this ! ( Right lobe is enlargedEnlarged adenoids Enlarged prostate 5.6 cm in length. The left lobe is 4.6 cm in length.Dominant mass is seen in the right thyroid toward its lower pole. This is complex cystic in apperance and measures 3.1 x 2.2 cms. smaller hypocchoic densities are seen one in the isthmus and one in the left lobe.) so can anyone interpit. they want me to get a byopsy.exactly how big do you think the cyst is ? hopefully someone out there know's.
