Iodine/ iodide supplements

I received RAI treatment for an Autominous Nodule on my Thyroid approx. 18 years ago. I have struggled with my weight and boughts of clinical depression ever since. I'm taking 100MCG's of Levothyroxin per day, which I have been since the RAI. Everytime I've had bloodwork done, my Dr. tells me that my "levels are in the NORMAL range." I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to try adding a Iodine/ iodide supplement to my diet. Does ANYONE have personal experience & advice they can give me? Thanx, Laurie

I do. I take iodine. However can you be more specific and post your lastest lab? The actual tests and numbers.
