Iodine???

Does anyone take Iodine for their thyroid, while on synthroid?  Would it make nodules worse?  I keep hearing it's ok to take.

I was actually thinking about eating some kelp too. I'll ask the doctor about that also.
Having the nodules is whats making me wonder if it would be ok.  I think I am going to ask for a iodine test to see if I'm low. There is a test for iodine isn't there?

Well, if you ask people the general consences is it is but it does defy logic. I take Iodoral and a lot of others take Lugi's through out history Iodine has been the drug of choice for everything it's the one mineral your body needs to live and it goes to each cell people absolutely swear by it. Those that take Armour personally I don't see a reason not to take it in moderation but like I said everyone has there opinion.
