Is hypothyroidism likely?

I recently had blood and urine tests and am wondering if it shows signs of hypothyroidism...here are my symptoms...Physical: headaches, lower back pain, insomnia, depression, tired eyes all the time...Blood and urine results: High Calcium, Serum:10.5, High TSH: 4.760, High Specific Gravity: 1.034, Abnormal appearance of urine: cloudy, and 50% lymphs...are these signs of hypothyroidism or am I just being paranoid?

But your TSH is high, post your free T's.

Low side of normal is not good, but its still in the range, see what I mean? It can cause symptoms.

Thank you for the information.  I went to the parathyroid website and read a lot of it.  I am going to get checked out and see what the doctor says.  My T3 and T4 levels are normal.  Oh and I don't take calcium supplementation but guess I will find out more when I can...Thanks

Thanks LM - I missed that..

The could be a primary and secondary issue with both things...

I feel the parathyroid.com site could be helpful to you to learn if parathryoid could blend in with this situation and to get the right tests to know more on that too.

headaches, lower back pain, insomnia, depression, TSH: 4.760

- Yes, so now get Free T3 and Free T4 tested. They are the active thyroid hormones that fall into a range.

Now the high calcium can be from the obvious..........calcium suplementation, or parathyroid gland malfunction. I don't know much about the latter, goggle it.

Thres a few things I am concerned about. One is the high calcium.

Is anyone looking at parathyroid issues? What symptoms are you having?
