I am currently leveled out with my thyroid. I have fought the thyroid for 5 years now. In the beginning, I was hyperHyper-sal with gravesGraves disease' disease. I had the I131 iodine radiationCystitis - noninfectious Radiation therapy pill. I was then severly low and up to over 300 mg of synthroid, levoxil and finally tried the shot formula (2 shots every other day) which eventually my body absorbed and levels started working out. This medication in now on indefinate backorder everywhere. A shot in the dark landed me taking armour. I was on 180 mg and experiencing normal levels finally after 5 years. When I became pregnant, the doctor uped me to 210 mg since the baby would be using up some of it. I then discovered that I had miscarried after just a very short 5 weeks and 2 days into my pregnancy. (We are thankful that if we did have to miscarry that we didn't hear the heartbeat and weren't farther along as it would've been more tramatic for us).
This is the first time I have ever miscarried. Is it just one of those things or will I ever be able to carry a baby to full term being on thyroid medication? My husband and I are desperately wanting another child, but I'm don't want to test fate if the odds are against me.
