Is there a corelation between High Blood Pressure andThyroid meds

I'm currently on 150mcg daily and my bp still is hovering around 148/78 and 145/80..
My Tsh is 0.16. I have been on thyroid meds for a couple of years now and what is doing  to my heart?
Have you experienced the same and done something about it?

My Bp yesterday was 144/91.. Why is it still high?  Can this still be thyroid meds problems?

Usually there should be a gap of 50 between the two readings for the blood pressure....and not over the 150-160 mark.
My BP was always low around the 110/70 mark and although that reading looks fine...it caused me to have dizzy spells a lot.
Now its around the 120/70 mark...not much difference in numbers but I feel a lot better for it.
I went hypo when I got the flu so getting my tsh back down now as it went from 2.3 to 6.0 in 2 weeks!
Normally I wouldve seen it coming but this time I didnt with the flu symptoms.....although it is going back down now since I increased my meds.
I know where you are coming from in regards to being cold lol.
I was freezing and I thought it was the flu!

I was hyper with Graves and Thyca prior to RAI with the low blood pressure but it has picked up since the levels stabalised with Thyroxin.
See your Doc about your blood pressure and see what he thinks.

Before I found out I had thyroid problems, my bp ran about 90/60 and body temp was around 96.  I've been on levoxyl for a year and a half and my bp is now 120/79 and body temp is 98.5!  My tsh is .01 right now and am slowly adjusting the meds to bring it up.  So yes, I do think that there is a corelation.
That being said, don't they typically focus on the second number most (78 and 80)?  What does your doctor say?  I too, worry about it at times.  But it IS nice to not feel cold all the time anymore like I did for years!!
