Is this 'fog'?

I am going about my normal day to day business when out of the blue I feel like I am 'out of body'- like I can't quite focus even though I just was, like the world is surreal. I worry that people can tell that I am tuned out.
Although my thyroid levels were normal range I also get REALLY itchy skin on the front of my legs and lower back.
What do you all think?

I also get a weird feeling like I am fighting to stay in reality.  I attribute it to fear.  It comes out of nowhere and it leaves.  I also have itchy skin on my back.  My girlfriend has very itchy legs.  She has dry skin.  I don't know if that is caused by the thyroid or not but a dermotologist can give you a good ointment for your skin.  Maybe others know what cause it.   linda

I think I know what you're talking about.  It almost feels like a massive fatigue hit you, or that you're in a dream like state... or not at all?
