Is this normal? Need some suggestions

Just had my tests and here are the results from 4/10 and 5/17 (been on thyroid meds since Sept 09); the doctor said i don't need to be tested again until December; is that normal for thyroid?  should this be tested every three months rather than 6?  I've not changed anything else in my routine; same meds, diet, exercise supplements; been having racing heart, lightheaded, tingling in my head, retaining fluid; my heart is fine just went through a battery of test - need some advice/suggestions...

Creatine  5/17 - .85    4/10 - .93 (ref .60-1.10 mg/dl)

thanks so much for the response!  I'm only on levoxyl 75mcg.  i did go to my primary care who said my phosphate levels were fine and wanted to test my heart (again and it's always find); is there a different type of doctor that would focus on the kidneys?

I was tested every 6 weeks until I got 2 labs that were consistent, then the frequency was dropped to 3 months; I'm now at 4 months.

I agree that your thyroid levels are in range, but your FT4 is at the top of it's range, while FT3 is only about mid range.  Your FT4 could stand to come down, while your FT3 has room to come up a bit.

What med/dosage are you on?  You might want to look at lowering your T4 dose and add a small amount of T3.  While this does not hold true for everyone, a rule of thumb is to have FT4 levels about mid range and FT3 levels in the upper third of their range.

Yes, do have that phosphate level checked out.

Your thyroid levels look good, but you have a very high Phosphate level. I would bring this to your primary care Dr's attention. Have you had your kidneys checked?
