I didn't have this but according to a book I have it says it's one of the more commonCommon cold symptoms. Usually coming on as a result of dry skin - an even more common symptom.
Hopefully the med will eventually help. It takes a while for it to penetrate. If you don't get relief let your dr know. He should have some suggestions for you.
Actually, I had itching but after starting the med. I had to change brands as a result of new insurance coverage but inadvertently it was better because the itching subsided.
