21-m, always showed symptoms of thyroid problems last few years but doctors have always said that my tshPituitary and tsh Tsh was just a "littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys too high" nothing to be concerned about. now i got tested about a month ago and my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh came back 6.8 and my doc started me on 50mg(White) synthroid). ive been on it for about 4 weeks now and noticed that every once in a while i feel realllly drugged out and lethargic, which i didnt feel before i was on the meds. my hair has really thinned out, dried out, over the past few years as well.
- is my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh level a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys high, high, really high?
- does synthroid give you an occasional "drugged" feeling? if yes, does it go away?
- will synthroid help my hair?
thanks for any replies!!
If generic, consider brand name.
Many on this forum have had better experiences with the brand name drugs.
Your TSH is certainly high enough to treat.(A little high, I would say.)
Maybe starting at a lower dose is a good idea as well. I started on 25 mcg and then increased slowly.
