Keloid after thyroidectomy

I was wondering if Pie Face ever found an answer, as I am having exactly the same problems and issues after my thyroidectomy....exactly. And everyone tells me that it will be fine, but it has also affected my voice - can't sing, weak voice...and I still have swelling in my throat (I feel it inside and outside). I have a keloid scar where the incision was made, but it is not the scar that is causing the internal issues.
