Please help, I have been taking htem together in teh morning and not eatting or drinking for alteast 2 hours. Now I am back to feeling exhausted all the time, espechially hard to get up in the morning. I have a headache in the am when I get up and can barely get going.
How long have you been taking meds and what was your last TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh and T3, T4T4 test reading? Synthroid is usually taken in the AM. Some people take half of the cytomel in the AM and half in the afternoon as it is not long lasting. You might want to try it that way. I would call the doctor and tell him what you are experiencing. You may not need to take the cytomel at all unless you are having trouble converting the T4 to T3. Synthroid is T4 only and converts to T3 in the body. Cytomel is T3 only. You may be getting too much T3 by taking the cytomel. You might be able to drop the cytomel until your next blood test to see how your body is doing on just the synthroid..
