Lab results are in. No meds
Hello. I had blood work yesterday. Came back today. I'm amazed at how quick it came back. Pituary MRI clean, waiting on 24 hour urine.
I'm on day 18 or so with no meds
Tsh 5.85. (.40 to 4.50)
T4 total. 5.9. (4.5 to 12.5)
T4 free. 0.9. (0.8 to 1.8)
T3 free. 2.8. (2.3 to 4.2)
T3 total 91. (76 to 181)
Testosterone 230. (range 400 to 800)
Symptoms are still terrible ear ringing, terrible uncomfortable anxiety, some headaches. Buzzing in head. Feel better than when on meds. The meds was tirosint .13 to .25.
I think I finally found an Endo that doesn't think I'm nuts. He thinks some of the symptoms are neurological. Says his goal is to get me on some thyroid and testosterone but not yet as it made me feel worse. I need thyroid because I do feel fatigued but it's not unbearable. Also my symptoms are horrible in morning, better as day goes on. Also even though my testosterone is low, I still have somewhat of a libido, but the ear buzzing and anxiety ruins it for me.

Kevin you are my freaking hero...... I bought a yoga cd today. What iron is safe for a hashi?
Means you are low on iron and need to take a supplement. It's a back to front kind of level. Could account for some of your symptoms.
can someone please tell me what this means on an iron panel:

I think I'm going to get my d under control, wait for my adrenal thing to come back.... Unmedicated is hard. I'm not going to whine anymore, I've learned it's hopeless. But it does make me feel better talking to people about it.

I know Stella and everyone has given you great advice .. send me a PM or if you post pls pm me that you posted ... I have tremendous allergy experience and was thinking maybe something may jump out if you list your symptoms + meds and ingredients if you have them.

its not the brand, its the attack i get 4 hours after taking it each day..... sux..
looks like you have hypothyroidism, u might want to try a different brand of thyroid replacement hormone ,, see if you can tolerate a different brand, I'm one my 4Th brand, try that and recheck in 6 weeks,

NO, im not taking anything at the moment. Nothing. zero, zilch. I have "thyroid now" but have not taken it yet. Trust me, my closet looks like a small pharmacy.

Bruce - please don;t complicate this and go to an OTC.
Its a bovine product and these animals on OTC supplments aren't pharmacutical feed to be pure enough to grind their thyroids into proper meds.
Besides, kelp is junk. If you want to trial iodine - go with ioderol tablets only. Be prepared, if you have any hidden antibodies you will rear the heck out of them with iodine and if you think you felt like sh!t on medications - you will certainly have a nightmare on your hands with this in most cases.
Here's what I want you to do. Seek one of the doctors I sent you in that message. Make an appointment - take your recent labs that show the LOW FREES and request ERFA thyroid again.
Start super low at a .15 once a day.
Get your doctors approval first on everything posted here.
