Lab results

My surgeon emailed me the results of the labs drawn Monday morning.  She also left me a voicemail saying that my TSH is definitely better than before (last one I remember is 0.06) so she thinks my synthroid dose is good for me; but she is going to email my endo today & see if he wants to change it.

Test                      Range
ca 8.8                    8.5 - 10.5
tsh 0.37                  0.40 - 4.00
T4 11.7                   4.5 - 12.5
T3 0.96                   0.77 - 1.17
FT4 11.2                  3.5 - 14.6
iPTH 2.6                  1.6 - 6.9

So for the first time in a long time I'm almost normal :-)  At least lab-wise that is.  Even though my calcium is better my surgeon wants me to remain on my supplements in order to build my body's stores up again.  But I have been able to decrease it to 2000mg twice a day without any tingling or other symptoms.  I will be rechecking my labs in 3 weeks and hopefully my tsh will be even higher.

GREAT CLINICAL news on the #'s ...... and glad to hear you feel well with the #'s, too!

My results are due in today or tomorrow .. this will be interseting as I told them to go slow and now am paying a hypo price .. maybe not SO SLOW is how I feel now ... they up me by 25mcgs ea. time only starting out at 25 and now @ 50 bcz I freaked them out as I was so so scared to take the med ?? But now I wish I was symptom free and at the right dosing LOL!!!!!

Cheryl, boy isn't it amazing how clear hindsight vision is?  :-P  I know there's so many times I have said "if I had only know then what I know now...".  I'm hoping you feel better soon.  I was already hyper so I guess I wasn't as concerned about being over-medicated.  I was actually terified about being under-medicated and being in hypohell.  Well, I guess we balance each other out.  :-)

Oh, and btw, I figured out why my emails wouldn't go through to you.  I miss-typed the address when I put it into my address book.  I fixed it and it should work now.  I guess I'll go try.  :-)
