Lab test results help

I had a total thyroidectomy in April of this year. Lab test early summer said I need more Levothyroxine and my dose was adjusted to 0.15 mg. I have been feeling tired lately. New lab tests showed T4 Free Non-dialysis to be 1.5 and my TSH W/Reflex to free T4 to be 11.27. That is well above the reference range of 0.45-4.50 for TSH. My calcium was also low. T3 was not tested. Doctor said leave my dosage alone for Levothyroxine because T4 is fine only TSH is elevated...Not sure that is right...Any ideas about this high TSH of 11.27. Thank you.

I forgot to add to my initial post that I have been experiencing terrible leg cramps at night. Might not be related, but thought I should mention it just in case.

The leg cramps are more than likely due to low calcium. Do you take a calcium suppleement? Also if you are low on Vit D taking calcium without a Vit D supplement is not optimal for absorption and you would need a tablet to help that as well.
TSH on its own at 11.27 indicates hypothyoidism. It is the Free T3 that will show if your body is converting the T4 into usable T3. If you have symptoms of being hypo then you should ask to increase your meds.

Hello ,
what is the reference range for the FT4 ??
If you have hashomoto then elevated TSH with normal FT4 is still not good , since that means your gland is working over time !
my free T 4 was normal with high TSH when I was diagnosed and I felt terrible !
however ,1050mcg/week is a very high dose ! how long have you been on that dose ??
what is your weight in KG ?

good luck ,

The reference range for the T4 test was 0.8 -1.7 and I was shown as being 1.5. I did have a total thyroidectomy so no gland is left in me. Pathology said I had Multinodular goiter, Focal adenomatoid hyperplasia, Focal mild chronic lymphocytic thyroiditits, and one benign reactive lymph node. Left lobe measured 5.6 X 3.5 X 3.2 cm and right 5.3 X 3.5 X 2.0. Sectioning revealed multiple pink and amber nodules measuring up to 3.4 cm.  But, all that is gone now. I was feeling good for several months after and then I started getting tired again. I have been on 0.15 for 5 months. My weight is 290 pounds. I have lost 27 pounds since surgery.

I am taking D-3 but not calcium. I plan to get a bottle this weekend. I understand it should have magnesium in it also. I probably should call the doctor and ask to have my T3 checked. I don't know why it wasn't done in the last round of tests. I am feeling like I did before my surgery  again after having a few months of symtom free days. Also my TSH was 16.08 when they put me on the dose of 0.15 and now it is almost that high again.
