Large nodule in the left hemithyroid
needle  aspiration  has  been  called  suspicious  for  Hurthle  cell  variant  papillary  carcinoma  of  the  thyroid . I  am  on  thyroxine  and  believe  the  nodule  has  not  gotten  any  bigger . Surgery  has  been  suggested . Do  I  really  need  surgery  at  this  time ?
