Hello, my Synthroid dosage was recently redueced from 112mcg to 100mcg. Before the switch my TSHPituitary and tsh Tsh was .11. Now on 100mcg it is .357. I want to supplement Calcium and Magnesium for the muscle twitches and aches. Can anyone recommend a product for this and or a dosage? My blood Calcium #'s are 10.3. Any help is appreciated.
I take all my vitamins/minerals separate so as I can regulate them to my specific health needs. This can be expensive but so can a medical/hospital bill.
One-A-Days are not for people with health issues but rather more for the healthy peoples needs.
Buy natural - no sugars, no starch, no artificial color, no artificial flavors, sodium free, no wheat, no gluten, no corn, no soy, no dairy, and yeast free...etc. No iodine if you are hyper. Look for expiration dates - its a law in US to have expiration dates them on and against the law to sell expired, but sometimes stores don't do a good job and they get away with it. A few years ago my local drug store got caught but I still look for expiration dates.
I don't buy any special brand. Just what my local drug store has that list the above and not too expensive. I live in a small town which does not have health food store.
All vitamins/minerals work together. One taken without the other can deplete you of another.
I suggest buy a real good nutrition vitamin/mineral book that also relates to illness and list foods that supply the vitamins/minerals.
