Low FT4 and High FT3 normal TSH

by North48, Feb 03, 2009 12:14PM
Borderline Low Free T4 and borderline high Free T3 and normal TSH are these normal test results or could this mean something?
Jan 09 FT4 .08 range .08-1.8
Jan 09 FT3 3.4 range 1.9-3.9
Jan 09 TSH 1.16 range .34-4.82
Jun 08 TSH  2.56
This is my sons thyroid labs and I'm a little confused when I've tried to research this. His brother has hashimoto but the pcp would not run antibodies and told him he would have to see an endo for that.  Would you see an endo for the antibodies or does this look completely normal?

He has been having symptoms tired, weight issues, dry skin, etc...Just throwing this out to see what you all think..
Thanks for any help!!
