Get two test done 6 weeks apart to see if they confirm each other and that there is no possible error.
All three levels low could mean hypothyroidism due to low pituitary function or adrenal fatigue.
Don't be too concerned until you see what the two test 6 weeks apart comes up with - and from same Lab, right .
Good Luck
I will make sure to follow up with my doctor- I know he wants to see me in a few weeks since he wants me to experiment with a slight dosage increase to see how I feel (I insisted I was not fine despite my low TSH). My insurance recently changed who they run their labs through so that is the difference between the two reference ranges in Nov and my last bloodwork. I am just concerned though from these readings wondering why my TSH would be so low if my Free T's are also so low. Isn't TSH supposed to be higher when the body is getting less thryoid?
Your FT Lab numbers are not corresponding with each other. Where they done at different Labs.
Do two test 6 weeks apart, diagnosed tested, at the same Lab and on the same med. dose, to see if levels approx. confirm each other.
Nov to recent test are too far apart to tell what is happening - too many issues can effect levels so far apart.
Thought I understood the results
but then my results this time came back
TSH 0.01
T3 2.7
T4 13.0
I was convinced by symptoms was hyper again.
But, doc said results normal! so no change in meds.
I feel really unwell at the mo, back to how ill I was when first
diagnosed.
Am I hyper/hypo......?
I dont know anymore!
In November last year I felt great (all symptoms gone of being hypo and no symptoms of being hyper). My labs at that time were:
TSH: 0.06
FT3: 283 (range 210-440)
FT4: 1.2 (range 0.8-2.7)
This time my labs were:
TSH: 0.11
FT3: 2.3 (range 2.3-4.2)
FT4: 0.6 (range 0.61-1.76)
My doctor has discussed the TSH low value before with me but since my thyroid hormones were always at good levels and all my symptoms were relieved at that level we left my meds the same. Just can't figure out when my TSH only did a little rise (still low by lab standards) why my Free T's would have dropped that much.
How low is low. What are your exact levels with Labs reference range.
