MY WIFE HAS THYROID CANCER, SHE HAD TWO THIRDS OF THYROID REMOVED TWO YEARS AGO. SHE ON MEDS NOW. DR SAYS HER THYROGLOBULIN AB,CURRENT @ ( 560)
AND THYROGLOBULIN,TOTAL,CURRENT @ (7.6), THYROGLOBULIN, TOTAL REMEASUREMENT @ (6.2) THE DOCTOR SAYS ITS UNCLEAR WHY TG LEVEL IS RISING.
COULD THIS BE RETURN OF CANCER?

Does your wife have an endocrinologist?  She needs to discuss these findings with her endocrinologist but, according to what I've read and my endo, her TG levels are an indicator that RAI is warranted - either to kill off the regrowth of thyroid tissue or any malginancies that may be growing..
