Mammogram

My friend wants to know if a mammogram screening is ok if you have a thyroid nodule.I told her to ask her doctor, but she wants me to post the question here first.

I have had a mammogram every year since I turned 30 - including the years I had thyroid surgery, RAI, etc.   Yeah, she should check with her doctor but I'm betting that the doc will say the benefits of a mammogram outweigh any potential hazards.
