Memory

Has anyone had any problems with their memory being affected?  I've read and read, web search, etc.  I'm still trying to figure out if it's my thyroid, something else, or another RX causing the problem.  Sometimes it seems like it's my thyroid and the RX for it helps, then it slips back again .  Any suggestions?  I am currently taking Synthroid and I was on Levo.  I've had my doctor prescribe T3 also but I've stopped that because of migraine issues.  Since I have migraines, and some meds create more problems in that arena at times, I have to make slow changes.

Try gingko biloba. It worked for me. In fact it was magical.

Memory problems and/or "brain fog" are a very common symptom of hypo.  However, as you mention, other scripts, etc. can also be to blame.

If you'd post your most recent FT3, FT4 and TSH with reference ranges (ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report), we can take a look and see if you look like your meds are well adjusted for you.

Do you have other hypo symptoms as well?  What thyroid meds do you take and dose?  What other meds are you taking?
