I went through the saliva hormonal testing and found out that I am in menopause ....... being estrogen dominant. I am taking prometrium, 200 mg at night. My night sweats are gone - but I still don't feel energized.
My T3, Reverse levels are at 36 -- a little high with normal being 11-32 ng/dL. No meds were given to me on this.
Do I need to be on meds for Reverse T3? And I need someone to explain the Reverse T3 to me. I also went through a thyroid scan and uptake ..... and all the necessary bloodwork. The doctor doesn't seem to concerned about the gointer since it's not causing me any problems and there's no indication of cancer.
