NEED TO KNOW THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF VITAMIND D & CALCIUM

by em2jubs, Jun 21, 2008 05:27PM
HI! I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HYPERTHYROIDISM/GRAVES DISEASE. I AMJUST TAKING METHIMAZOLE 5MG ONCE A DAY AND PROPANALOL & ATIVAN AS NEEDED FOT PALPATATIONS AND ANZIETY. BUT I TRY TO AVOID IT IF I CAN TAKE THE FLUTTERS OR PALPATATIONS FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES.
ANYWAYS I NEED TO KNOW THE RIGHT MILLIGRAMS  & KIND OF CALCIUM I SHOULD TAKE SINCE I AM TAKING 50,000 UNITS OF VITAMIN D.
RIGHT NOW I AM TAKING METHIMAZOLE 5 MG ONCE A DAY, VITAMIND D (50,OOO UNITS) ONCE A DAY, CALCIUM MAGNESIUM 400MG/300MG ONCE A DAY. BUT I NOTICED THAT I START TO HAVE JAW ACHES, AND ALSO OTHER PARTS OF MY NECK, BACK.
SHOULD I JUST BE TAKING PLAIN CALCIUM CARBONATE OR CALCIUM CITRATE WITH MY VITAMIN D?

THANKS,
EMMYLOU
