NP thyroid Shortage Again WTF !
Come on Acella ! Why the shortage back order? now there saying 2-4 weeks but i'll run out in a week WTF! do these people realize people lives depend on this stuff??????? Kevin
Target found me another months Supply!!! TG hopefully the shortage will be over in amonth time!! Good NEWS!
im going to combo take all my old thyroid meds out of my freezer till the shortage is over.
I have done it when i had to and it was the same type of med- not like mixing armour with synthroid or anything . I think I would have been alright with it if new Armour didn't have an adverse effect on me. I did add the Acella to my compounded when I was on it. Not saying to do it, but I did and it was not a big deal.

I kind of figured this would happen. When something works for me, it eventually goes away. I luckily have enough on hand for another month and getting a new refill this coming week as long as my bandaid doctor remains confused, I should have some back-up but then moving to Ohio, so this should be fun! Sorry to hear it, for both of us- all of us.
yea i hear you i was trying to get to the right dose before doing that (keeping a Backup) plus wasn't sure if this NP would work. I'm going to switch to home delivery 3 months at a shot once everything is settled. if i don't slip into a coma first. Kevin
my doctor is cool and will write for double of what i need. SO she writes for "to be taken twice daily" I know a place that you can get a months worth very quickly to hold you over if you still need (send me a private email)
good point better to be ahead of the game....being in a hypo state is the worst....sometimes you can get a little from the pharmacy if they have some to tide you over until you can get a full order

Always try to keep a months more of any thyroid med before reordering. Do what you need to do to accomplish this. Opps....Dr,I lost my last bottle somewhere? -, now I need more ahead of time.....
