Nausea a common symptom of hypo??

I feel extremely worn down today. Pretty much nauseated. I could only get a few bites of food in me. I still do my pearls, and vitamin c. I had a colonoscopy done four years ago when I was begging for help. Everything came back good, even when I had the upper done. It just feels so upset. Any ideas???

Have you wondered ever if you have a gluten intolerance? I am also hypo and also have hashimotos. I have not been diagnosed yet but I noticed I feel mu h worse after eating gluten products. I also suffer from skin issues that I think may be due to gluten intolerance. Check out celiac disease too. Just a suggestion. Much Love <3

Hi there,
Just to let you know that one of my  main symptoms before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism was extreme nausea every morning.  I woke up sluggish and nauseous and felt like I couldn't face the day.
Once I had started my treatment this went very quickly and now I feel great when I wake on a morning.
Hope this helps.
Regards

I also have nausea every morning. I feel sometimes like i have posted so many crazy symptoms on here asking so many questions that i feel like my mental state is crazy. My family is so aggravated with me because they tell me all i do is run to the hospital with heart palpations, anxiety and just overall feeling sometimes like something terrible is wrong with me. Now i also went to the gastro doc and of course he wants to do a colonoscopy and upper gi. I have had CT scans , CBCs and so much done until my family thinks i am a hypochondriac. I wish i had an answer for you Cynnieb4. I just feel like this thyroid disease which controls so much in your body can cause any kind of symptom. Best of luck to you and i hope you find the answers you need. god bless

If you take a thyriod medication and have just recently started taking it, it may be the cause of your nausea. Everytime they up my dosage of Levothyroxine I get nauseas for a week or two after taking it. If you started the medication recently it will take your body time to get use to it.

I posted on this not long ago.  I get this too.  Its like waves of nausea.  Comes and goes and I don't ever vomit from it.  I read somewhere that it is a symptom of thyroid, not just hypo, but hashi, hyper, hypo, etc.  Interesting.  I saw some responses to my post if you want to look back.

Hi. I am not sure if nausea is a symptom of hypo, but nausea has been one of my main issues and the only thing that has been found through numerous blood tests and scans is that I have hashimoto's. Can you be more descriptive of when your nausea occurs. For example, does it appear in cycles or is it at random? Is your episodes of nausea like a feeling of morning sickness? I hope you feel better soon!

Hi there, wish I could answer your post, but unfortunately I don't know and was just about to post a similiar question as I have extreme nausea myself. So I will watch your post with interest. Good luck on your replies.
