Need to find something that works

by cakeplate, May 07, 2008 12:18PM
I have had Hashimoto's for about 8yrs.  Each year my meds increase, now Levoxly 125mcg. Something has changed, I can not get a pound off.  I have read that the meds themeselves cause the weight gain.  Does anyone out there no  of a natural way to keep my Hashimoto's in check.  I am desperate!  I am now conteplating getting the band.

HELP!

Have you tried keeping your TSH on the low side, close to hyper?

Or have you considered switching to Armour thyroid medication?  Some people seem to do much better on that.  I also have Hashimoto, and do immensely better on Armour than  Levothyroxine.
