New to this

So I've been experiencing a lot of weird stuff. Anxiety, depression, muscle and joint pain throughout my body especially my hands and now my legs, I wake up lightheaded and go to sleep feeling light headed, my heart hurts at times and starts beating really fast, I've been losing a lot of weight I was at 218 not I'm down to 197 or maybe less. I'm 21, I've never had any health issues and now my stomache hurts like near my ribs and ovaries. I feel sick everyday that I wake up. Certain foods cause me to get more lightheaded and sleepy. And the doctor said my thyroid level was a little high so she checked again. It was at 6.3. I'm waiting for my new results. I've constantly been worrying about my health. I started crying out of nowhere yesterday and my anxiety acts up all the time I've already been in the ER 4 times because of it. I'm always feeling sick and tired and I' always have to use the restroom but at times I feel constipated. My hands get really shakey at times and my vision messes with me at times.  I also had vaginal discharge that lasted 2 days and the day I drank alcohol my stomache started hurting more I spotted blood and I had my period about a week and half ago. My hair has been falling off like crazy and my face has been really dry including my hair. I randomly get really hot and frustrated uggghhh I'm frustrated right now actually. My lower back hurts as well . And at times my neck feels swollen. Idk but is this what happen to people with thyroid problems ?

Make sure they do all the tests I listed above.  If they resist, then insist on it and don't take no for an answer.  You need all that info to determine your status and to make sure you get adequate treatment.  .

Yes I had a physical done and the only thing that popped out bad was my tsh was at 6.3 but this was 2 months ago that my tsh was at that level I don't know if it's gotten higher or lower and I was low on vitamin d. The doctor took more test but ima see her on the 3rd and she's also checking to see if I'm low on b12. I just have not been feeling well. I'm soo new to all this. And I guess she's checking everything one at time but I can't take it. I feel sick everyday

Assuming that the 6.3 is TSH, is that the only thyroid test done for you?  If so, I fully expect that you are going to need to find another doctor in the near future.  Do you know what tests are being done this time?

Just based on your symptoms alone, I would expect that further testing will show you to be in the low end of the ranges for the biologically active thyroid hormones, Free T3 and Free T4.  Some of your symptoms also make me think of the possibility of having nodules on your thyroid gland, which occurs frequently with the primary cause for diagnosed hypothyroidism, which is Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.  Those nodules can sometimes leak hormone faster than normal, causing swings from hypo to hyper and back.  To determine if Hashi's is present, the tests are TPO ab and TG ab.  Also would be good  to get an ultrasound test on your thyroid gland.

It would also be a good idea to test for Vitamin D, B12 and ferritin (iron).  So I suggest getting all these done and then we can better confirm your status.

Hasn't the doctor considered additional testing, or starting you on thyroid med?
