I know by body better than any doctor ever could and I have many things going on. I have the lack of energy, constant tired feeling, constipation (ulcerative colitis), sensitivity to cold, severe muscle cramping and twitching, extreme weight gain despite the poor appetite, dry skin, loss of hair in handfuls and the premature greyness. I had a hysterectomy in 2001 and have not felt right since. In the past 3 months I have gained 17 pounds. In the past year I have gone from 160 pounds to 203 pounds. I do not see how this is possible since I only eat yogurt for breakfast, a lean cuisine for lunch, a normal supper and a small snack. I recently had some testing done to see if this could be hypothyroidism but the endocrinoligist is just blowing me off stating that my test are normal and there is no way this could be hypo. My T4 was 0.81, TSH was 0.844, my T3 was 4.13 and Microsomal AB was 0.3. Please help me. Could this be hypothyroidism just not severe yet?
