Normal T3, Low T4, positive TPO

Below are my results of bloodwork done last week to see if my thyroid is an issue in my resistent Lyme Disease condition. Does the low T4 suggest hypothyroid and does the postive TPO suggest Hashimoto Disorder?

T3, free - 2.8  (1.9-3.9)
T4, Total - 4.1  (4.5-13.0)
TPO - 123.8   (<5.7)
IGF1 - 137  (91-246)

You didn't have all the correct testing done. The total T4 is outdated and not used. You should have had a Free T4 with the Free T3 and a TSH. I would bet that you are at a hypo level. Yes it shows that you have Hashimoto's. If you are left in a hypo state, your body cannot heal properly from anything.

Thank you for the feedback. I will let my doctor know. I was seeing other postings talk about the Free T4 and TSH and wondered about that.
