is your results.. 1.25? and .399 or 399? sounds hormonal..... normal range does not mean normal for all! you need to find your normal I am clearly hypo with major symptoms starting after 1.5 .... I feel my best at 1.0.
More important than TSH would be your free T3 level and free T4. Your free T3 should be in the upper part of the range to alleviate symptoms. Another good indication of your metabolic rate/thyroid levels, would be to check your normal temperature for several times a day for several days and compare to optimal of 98.6. The lower your regular temperature below 98.6, the slower your metabolism, and the worse your symptoms are likely to be. If your doctor doesn't want to pursue any further something that is so important to your health and well being, you obviously need to find another doctor---one that understands thyroid problems.
