Number of calories???

Hi all!!  I have posted a similar question before, just trying to get more info.  Endo upped my PTU from 50mg 1x daily to 50mg 2x daily as my labs were showing hyper.  Just started the new dose 2 weeks ago.  Any how, about a year ago I was on 10 mg Tapazole 1x daily, labs good except for liver enzymes, slightly elevated.  I suggested the switch to PTU instead of RAI.  At that time I began exercising and REALLY watching my calories (dropped 25 lbs in a year).  Then just last month labs showed hyper again.  Until then, labs were good.  I'm sure my weight loss was due to the change in habits and the PTU.  Since the increase in dosage-no weight gain.  I am now 111lbs (only 5ft tall though) and I run 5 miles 4-5 times a week and almost never eat more than 1800 calories a day.  If I stay on this path is it possible to maintain this weight?  Or do I need to decrease my calories.  My BMR is 1245ish.  Thanks everyone!!!!  Side note could my consistenly running have brought on the hyperthyroidism again?  I read that somewhere.

I watched a programme on tv recently that showed the people had not lost any weight after 3 months and keeping their calories down from running. They proved that different types of excersise can help in losing weight, like walking! Shorter bursts of energy for a minimum of 15 minutes actually helps you to lose weight. I know this is true coz I have lost 6 kilos (13.2 lbs) in a month doing that.
I doubt the running created the hyperthyroidism. More than likely your meds are still not correct.
