Pain in the right side of the thyroid

I have 2 dyas with a constant sharp pain in the right side of the thyroid. My heartbeat is really fast specially in the night time to the point the wake me up.

Can you advice me what to do?

I get that when my thyroid swells, AND when I have a nodule that bursts. I ice mine with an icepack and it always seems to help.
