Pain with swallowing

I was diagnosed witha goiter in Feb. 2009. I have had no probles until now. I don't sleep at night because I have terrible pains in my chest that radiate to my back when I swallow. This only happens at night. Could this be my goiter or GERD? Are these symptoms that can come with a Goiter?

Have you been diagnosed with Hashimoto's or Graves?

Have you had the following tests? TSH, FT3, FT4, TGab, and TPOab? If so , please post those levels?

Are you taking any thyroid hormone such as Synthroid, Levo or Armour? Gotiers can be caused by auto-immune thyroid disease and you need to have all of the thorough testing and treatment.

I get the swelling because I have Hashi and the antibodies attack me. I take Selenium once daily and it helps, but I don't know what's casuing your goiter, so I can't tell if Selenium will help you.
