Pituitary Questions

by Blue727, Feb 24, 2008 07:12PM
What are the symptoms of a pituitary problem?  If an MRI without contrast didn't show any damage to the pituitary, could you still have a pituitary problem?  The reason I ask, is my TSH, Free T-3 and Free T-4 tests have always been in the "normal" range, but at the bottom of the "normal" range.

Most of us on here are dealing with thyroid problems so you may not get a lot of feedback; however, I did find some sites for you:

http://www.hormone.org/public/pituitary/overview.cfm
http://www.pituitary.org/disorders/
http://www.clevelandclinicmeded.com/medicalpubs/diseasemanagement/endocrinology/pituitary/pituitary.htm
http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/conditions/pituitary-2.html

Best of luck.  You may also try posting to the Thyroid expert forum to get Dr. Lupo's feedback.
