Please advise....

I recently had some bloodwork done that showed
Thyroid Antibodies
Anti-Thyroglobin <20 (<40)
Thyroid Microsoma 394 (<40)= HIGH

TSH= 3.94(0.3-5.5)
Total T3= 94 (60-181)
Free T4= 1.6 (0.9-1.8)
Reverse T3= 458(90-350)= high!

Currently take 75mcg of Synthroid, and Adren-All supplements for Adrenals.

Currently Have Adrenal Fatigue
Cortisol levels
Low in morning
Normal in noon
Low Low in late afternoon
Normal at midnight

I was diagnosed with Graves disease and had the RAI.
I also experience a swelling feeling in my neck once in a while?
Along with fatigue, dizziness,weak/pain muscles, etc. throughout the day.

Should I be on more synthroid?
Should I get more antibody tests done? Which ones? There are so many different names and abbreviations of them?
Could it be cancer?
Could it be Hashi's?
Could it be Graves coming back?
Do I need HC for the adrenals?

I would like to try Armour thyroid, but with my adrenals being low, I've heard its not a good idea, Is this true? It looks like I need T3.

Please advise....Thank you so much!

Adrenals need to be corrected first.

Should I be on more synthroid?
Adrenals need to be corrected first. Might be the cause of your symptom being thyroid symptoms and adrenal symptoms are almost the same.

Should I get more antibody tests done? Which ones? There are so many different names and abbreviations of them?
No! Thyroid antibodies are not curable nor treatable, nothing can be done about them.

Could it be cancer? Well, you guess is good as mine.  If you have a nodule you might want to have it checked out for cancer, if you haven't already.

Could it be Hashi's? No, levels don't relate Hashi.

Could it be Graves coming back? Graves' never went away. Once Graves' always Graves'. As Graves' is an autoimmune, there is no cure or treatment for Graves', only the hyper side, hopefully.

Do I need HC for the adrenals?   What's that.

However if you were diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue it needs to be correct first and above thyroid levels.  "In a weakened adrenal state, prescribing thyroid medication that contains T4 and/or T3 may produce limited or transient improvement. Subsequent increases of the dose offer little or no benefit as the medication pushes the energy machinery into overdrive. Unfortunately, this higher energy level is unsustainable due to the stress on the adrenals. Eventually the adrenals become fatigued and the symptoms of low energy return. If, however, the adrenals are functioning well, the thyroid hormones can do their job and the result is good metabolic energy."drrind. google graves disease and rai

Hope this helps

HC is Hydrocortisone .... a synthetic drug to help adrenals function properly.
I am simply on these Adren-All Vitamins for the adrenal problem, and am not sure its enough support.

Is there anyway, taking small doses of Armour could benefit and help my struggling adrenals in the long run?

If doctor suggest HC, I would assume, by all means, you'd be taking it. If you are diagnosing and treating yourself, you could make things worse.

No, Armour would make adrnels worse.
"thyroid medication that contains T4 and/or T3 (Cytomel or Armour) may produce limited or transient improvement. Subsequent increases of the dose offer little or no benefit as the medication pushes the energy machinery into overdrive. Unfortunately, this higher energy level is unsustainable due to the stress on the adrenals. Eventually the adrenals become fatigued and the symptoms of low energy return. "

Heal the adrenals first.

Thank you.
I am going to repeat the saliva test before starting any t3. Im also going in for more blood work this wed. I am getting my iodine checked, as well as a few other levels people mentioned were helpful. Im also getting an ultrasound of my neck and the ACTH Stim test ordered! Im not leaving his office until he orders it all for me. The ACTH Stim will tell me if this is a pituitary problem, and if I will need HC for life (hopefully not though). It will rule out, yet another possibility to my health problems.
Im on Vit D supplements, but its too soon to get that level checked.
Can you think of any other tests I should have ordered...what about some antibody tests? Know of any that would rule out/ confirm certain things??
I believe, there is no such thing as too much testing!!!
