Hi Zindy, I asked my surgeon about the scar issue after reading some posts here, I had left side remove 24 years ago. He said that no problem. Last surgery the nurse left the drain in my throat for 3 days and my scar is bigger at that place. Now my surgeron said he will try to do something for my scar look better this time. I just had TT on May 1st. My surgeon is an ENT and doing plastic surgery also. Just let you know that the second time surgery will not have any problem with the SCAR ISSUE. Please find a second endo for a second opinion. I kept my right goiter for 10 years before decided to remove it. Keep us posted. Take care.

thank you so much that makes me feel better. i"ve had 2 endo dr tell the that. how big was your nodule? did it give you any pain? mine is 5.2 x 2.6 x 2.6cm and i have ear,neck pain,sore throat & hoarseness alots. i've also had the I 131 rai pill and they was hoping it would shrink but got bigger. my tsh 30.2 . how are you feeling now? i wish you the best!!! zindy
