I am a mother to 1 princess :) however the journey was not easy. I wasn't diagnosed with my Thyroid condition until I was 2 months pregnant. It makes sense why we struggled to conceive pre-Cady. It took us almost 2 years! I haven't had RAI done, long story. I recently had Thyroid Storm and my new Endocrinologist advises that I shouldn't be ttc'ing until after. Makes perfectPerfect choice sense. I do want the RAI. But I just found myself in a bizarrely strange place, we weren't ttc'ing, in fact we were doing everything to prevent it. It just happened. I had a miscarriage a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys after Thanksgiving. We were ttc'ing for almost 1 year. Prior to that I had a early on miscarriage a few years ago. I should be elated, excited and overjoyed but I can't be.
Has anyone been on a pill regimen whether it be because you are hyperthyroid or hypo and on a beta blocker the same time while pregnant? What did your doctor suggest you do? Stay on the beta blocker or get off it? All experience whether good or bad, I'd like to hear. I'm honestly scared to even tell my new Endocrinologist "Oops I'm preggo, I want to keep it!" therefore prolonging the purpose of getting RAI. TIA. xox
